The title may be a little ignorant but come on, it's funny. In all seriousness, by show of cyber hands, who has contemplated going back to the creamy crack? I'm not going to say that 'creamy crack is wack' as many natural hair enthusiasts may proclaim; after all, everything ain't for everybody. In all fairness, how many of you natural have considered going back to relaxed hair because you're fed up with fighting your natural curls?
At least once a month I want to give up, but I stick with it. I love my natural curls and thick mane of hair too much to want to change it but if you would have asked me a year and a half ago, I would have told you to pass me a box of Dark and Lovely. I've come to embrace and love my curls and letting them go isn't a far off thought. How about you? Ever considered giving up?

Write commentsI can honestly say I have not had a moment of creamy crack craving since I did the big chop 18 months ago.
ReplyThe thought crosses my mind for a millisecond every now and then, but I'd never do it. When I get frustrated with my kinks and coils, I go to the salon for a blowout and flat iron. When I get over it, I wash my hair to reunite with them. I prefer the options. A relaxer is so...permanent. See what I did there? LOL!
ReplyOn Christmas Day, it will be 18 months since my Big Chop...I've NEVER thought about perming it again..ever.
