Tutorial - Mohawk (aka Fauxhawk)

Alex over at "The Good Hair Blog" posted this really great video on how to do a mohawak (fauxhawk). It's such a simple and cute style that you can dress up or down in a snap. Alex will also be a "Natural Spotlight" feature soon so check back later for her interview.

This is so much harder to do the longer my hair gets. I don't have enough texture for it to hold and look like a hawk. *sad face*

@Epitome - I love the style in general but my hair does not want to act right in the front so I haven't tried it in a few months.

@MrsMaryMack - Have you tried doing flat twists or cornrows on the sides instead of pinning it up? That may work since you hair some weight and length to it.
