How to Pineapple Your Hair

I only recently started pineappling my hair and I'm hooked. Pineappling is a method in which you put your hair into mini ponytails all over to stretch your style out. Your hair will resemble a pineapple when you're done and will ensure that your curls/twists remain intact. I know it sounds silly but surprisingly, it works wonderfully.

Step 1 - Mist your hair with a leave-in conditioner or apply a light moisturizer
Step 2 - Gather small sections of your hair by finger parting so that you don't end up with harsh lines throughout.
Step 3 - Using soft hair bands (not rubberbands), pull your hair through the loop. Do not tighten it; you don't want to end up with "dents" in your hair.
Step 4 - Cover with a bonnet and go to bed

To take them down:

Step 1 - Remove all bands from your hair
Step 2 - Mist a little conditioner and water mix, if you think your hair needs a little moisture
Step 3 - Fluff your hair and separate to cover parts

Just that simple. Now that my hair a little longer, I've found that doing this will stretch my style out for a few days. You too should give it a try and let me know how it works for you.
