2011 Vision Boards
*This is not a hair related post but I thought I would share*This Saturday I hosted a vision board luncheon with some family and friends at my house. I decided to keep it a ladies only event for two reasons: one, we need to do more positive things together as women and; two, I thought it would be a great opportunity to set the example of our younger girls. So, I organized this party as a means of getting everyone together to work on our vision boards for next year. A vision board is basically a board that you fill with inspiration quotes, pictures and goals that you want to accomplish. I've been doing this for a couple of years now and it's pretty much a way of putting your dreams out there and keeping you motivated towards them.

My party was a huge success. Some of my old friends, new friends, family members and even Twitter buddies I've never physically met came over for it. We were all sprawled out all over my living room with millions of magazines and tons of great conversation. Its time like those that make life wonderful.
I encourage each of you to create your vision board for 2011, either with friends or by yourself. It's an ever-evolving thing so keep adding to it and watch your dreams come true.
