Natural Wedding Hair - Help!

Not even happening.
After I politely yet firmly declined (trust me I am not straightening my hair...in June...in Georgia), I informed them that I have every intention of wearing my curly locs on my big day. Now, how I want to actually style them is beyond me. I plan on testing out a few styles over the next few months but I still feel pretty stuck. If you have any recommendations or suggestions, I am totally open to hearing them them. Here are my requirements:
- My hair must have texture so either a braid out or twist is out needed.
- My veil is long so I want to wear my hair down although I am open to a partially up-do if it looks good.
- The style must be simple and easy to do since I will be doing my own hair.
- The style must be versatile, meaning I can wear it down today and put it up later that night.
Ready? Set? Go!

Write commentsOMG! I had no idea you were getting married. Congrats!! What about a rod set? I think that would look really pretty.
ReplyDo you want to wear it up? Or do you want to look like you do daily? (only your most fabulous self ;-)
ReplyIt depends on what you are comfortable with. It is YOUR wedding! Is your veil a clip on veil or does it have other components like a tiara or a decorative clip?
You can do a twist out the night before and take them out that morning and fluff it a little, pull one side back and use that "line" to place you veil. You can do a flat twist in the front to hold the front back and place your veil in that way. What are you leaning more towards?
