Straightening My Natural Hair Part 1
I decided to straighten my Friday night and here's how it came out.

I purchased a new blower dryer that had the comb attachments. I really like how this blower handled. It was $22.98 at Walmart. |

IC Fantasia makes an excellent heat protectant serum. This is the same bottle I used last April when I straightened my hair. |

If you don't have a heat serum, Grapeseed Oil is a great natural alternative. Bet you didn't know it was a major ingredient in hair serums huh? |

I twisted my hair into sections and let it air dry until is about 85% dry. |

I detangled with a regular comb and my leave-in then I attached the widetooth comb piece. |

All pinned up and ready for drying. |

I pulled out a small section within each major section. |

Almost dry |

Completely dry |

This some major length. Last year it was just at my shoulders |

The entire back section blow dried straight. |

I have unusually super thick hair. No matter how much heat you use, it won't get bone straight. |

The entire head dry |

And I'm done! |
On to the flat ironing!

ReplyYour blow out is so beautiful! It's so thick & it looks very soft. I have that exact same blow-dryer as well. I love how light and effective it is.
