Quick Up-do By Me
Thursday morning I realized that I hadn't washed my hair in almost 3 weeks (eek!). Laziness is something serious! I needed a quick style that I could wear to work until I was able to wash my hair later that evening. I achieved this style by misting my hair with water and using a little flaxseed gel to create two chunky twists on both sides of my head. I didn't use a comb to part since I wanted it slightly messy.
I pinned each twist back with a couple of bobby pins and fluffed the back section out with my hands to add volume. For a bit of pizzazz I pinned a flower in my hair. It only took me 10 minutes to do this style.

Write commentsWhere do you get your flowers from? I've been trying to find good ones. So far, I haven't fallen in love with any.
ReplyI find flowers in random places: Hobby Lobby, Walmart, dollar stores. Another option, that I prefer, is that I make them myself. Buy the big bobby pins, some fake flowers and a hot glue gun. At least that way you get what you want.
ReplyI got a chance to see this do in person - seeing that we work together - and it was gorgeous. I have such hair envy for your hair Monique. You inspire me to be better to my natural hair!
