Question
Monique, help! I am in dire need of a good leave-in conditioner. It seems like none of them work as well as they should. Any suggestions?

SLEEK & SHINE LEAVE-IN CONDITIONING CREAM
My Response
I have had this same issue until I found the holy grail of leave-in conditioners: Garnier Fructis Leave-in Conditioning cream. The keyword here is cream. For those of us with thicker, coarser hair (think 4a and 4b) cream based products tend to work better , particularly during the winter months. This product has worked wonders with my hair as a leave-in. It is very creamy and smooth, leaves no buildup on the hair, it doesn't weight it down and it's lightly scented. During warmer months, I use liquid leave-in conditioners like Jane Carters Solutions Revitalizing Leave-In. It's very lightly scented as well, all natural and perfect for detangling hair. Much like Garnier, it doesn't weight my hair down and leaves no smell behind.

When selecting a leave-in conditioner, it's important to remember thick(cold) = cream, fine/thin (hot) = water

I have very thick, coarse hair, and the only two that work for me are Beautiful Curls leave-in and Kinky Curly leave-in.
